Roads are closed after a shooting near a church in the Arden area of Sacramento County, officials said. KCRA 3 has confirmed the shooting is deadly. LiveCopter 3 has a view of several armed officers outside the Church in Sacramento at Wyda and Ethan ways. Roads near the activity are shut down.The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office in a tweet said a shooting nearby happened.Nearby residents are being asked by deputies to stay indoors.Video from LiveCopter 3 showed first responders carrying a person through the church parking lot. They tried to resuscitate that person. After repeated attempts, they were not successful.A church elder who spoke with KCRA 3 said the church — including its gates — were closed at the time. The only person who would have been there was the caretaker, who the elder said was not there.Sacramento City Council Member Eric Guerra tweeted that the shooting was a mass casualty incident.This is a developing story.
