Man shot and killed outside business in Sacramento County on Monday, sheriff’s office says

The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a deadly shooting outside a business in the Arden-Arcade area on Monday.The shooting was reported on the 2400 block of Marconi Avenue at around 9:12 a.m. Deputies who arrived found a man who was shot at least once on his upper body, the sheriff’s office said. Fire personnel arrived and pronounced the man dead at the scene. Crime scene tape cordoned off an area of a parking lot near a liquor store, a Little Caesars restaurant and other businesses. Homicide detectives and crime scene investigators have been interviewing witnesses. There is no suspect information available at this time. The victim’s identity will be released following notification of next of kin.
