New Hampshire snow totals by town: Feb. 25, 2022
Thank you very much for joining us. Storm watch and and weather on the web moving through the last weekend of february and what is our weather going to bring us while clearing skies for tonight. But the slippery roads linger into very early on saturday morning. So just be aware of that if you’re out there traveling between now and tomorrow morning, you’ll encounter the slippery roads due to of course the fallen snow and temperatures well below freezing in some cases up north sub zero, bright chilly for saturday, but temperatures have been higher than they were on friday. And then on sunday, partial sun in the morning could even be mostly sunny for a time in southern New Hampshire, but watch out during the afternoon, first around midday, early afternoon. Far north, mid to late afternoon, Far south for a quick hitting snow shower or even a chance of a quick burst of snow in a snow squall. Those of course are snow showers that drop visibility down to about zero, results in a quick coating to an inch of snow and result in slippery road conditions just like that. So watch out sunday afternoon, up until that point bitterly cold anywhere from say that in north country all the way into the Lakes region, upper valley in the monadnock region, but the snow is moving out and that means we get some sun back in here for a bright and seasonably chilly saturday, highs, low to mid twenties north, upper twenties, lower thirties south, it will be a bit breezy, so it’ll feel a bit colder. Then we move ahead to sunday. We don with sun clouds begin to approach as an arctic front nears and that will trigger snow showers and scattered squalls during the early to mid afternoon northern and central New Hampshire, mid to late afternoon, central and southern parts of the state. And in the wake of that arctic front, we’ll take a look at where temperatures go even lower only around 10, 11 or 12. Far North 23 or four Far south, some partial sun increasing clouds, scattered snow showers late Tuesday and Tuesday night. Then it’s breezy on Wednesday with some sun south maybe a few lingering flurries north and then partly sunny and chilly on thursday, slightly higher temperatures, but still that winter cold hanging around on friday.
