Many area school districts are activating their inclement weather plans as a wintry mix of precipitation is expected to contribute to deteriorated road conditions through Thursday, Feb. 24.

The following large school districts have canceled classes for Thursday, Feb. 24: Allen ISD, Arlington ISD, Cleburne ISD, C-FB ISD, Dallas ISD, Fort Worth ISD, Frisco ISD, Garland ISD, G-C ISD, Grand Prairie ISD, Irving ISD, Keller ISD, Lewisville ISD, Mansfield ISD, Mesquite ISD, Plano ISD, and Richardson ISD.

Colleges & Universities
Collin College started Wednesday with a two-hour delay before canceling classes for both Wednesday and Thursday.
Tarrant County College was dismissed early Wednesday and is closed Thursday.
TCU is closing at 1 p.m. Wednesday and canceling classes Thursday.
UNT is closed Thursday.
UNT Dallas and the UNT Dallas College of Law: All classes and office hours will be conducted virtually, Wednesday, Feb. 23, and Thursday, Feb. 24. Students and faculty are advised to check email for more details.
UNT Health Science Center is closed Thursday.
UTA is closed Thursday.
Weatherford College is closed Thursday.
