Police release images of person of interest

On Wednesday, Daytona Beach police released new images of a person of interest in the deaths of a married couple killed over the weekend.The police department later announced it is offering a reward of $50,000 to help solve the double homicide.The newly-released images give a clearer image of the man’s face and tattoos.A video released Tuesday, which can be viewed below, shows a man in a black cowboy hat and white pants. The images and video of the suspect are all from Seabreeze Boulevard just after midnight Sunday which is about two hours before Terry and Brenda Aultman were found murdered, stabbed and slashed on N Wild Olive Avenue two blocks away.”I have mace that I’m carrying around. I’m pretty much no longer walking around the neighborhood by myself,” a local resident said.Susan Park is shocked at the violence 100 yards or so from her house, horrified for this local couple seemingly killed without motive. Park and others in the area attended a meeting last night in which she says police told them they believe the subject is still in the area. “It’s definitely disturbing that there might be an attacker out there who is randomly hurting people for no reason whatsoever,” Park said.”He’s being hunted and hopefully they find him soon,” one resident said.City commissioner Ken Strickland represents the area where the murders occurred, represents people who are understandably very nervous. He says police are doing all they can to find this person of interest, following all tips and leads.”Everybody is watching.
