Urrfii Javed who has off late gained a lot of popularity on social media recently called out a Punjab-based casting director Obed Afridi for demanding sexual favours from young girls. Many other actors and models, including Priyank Sharma, supported Urrfii and shared their chats with Afridi. Urrfii shared a series of posts on her Instagram stories where she revealed that casting director Obed Afridi has been asking for sexual favours from young girls for providing acting roles. She even shared screenshots of the girls who contacted her and shared their stories with the casting director. Actor Priyank Sharma in his online chat with Urrfii revealed to her that two years ago Obed Afridi asked for sexual favours from a close friend of his. Urrfii thanked Priyank for sharing this on social media and supporting her. She even shared a screenshot of a report on Obed Afridi from 2019 when he was arrested for exploiting aspiring female models.In one of the screenshots shared by Urrfii, the director can be seen claiming that Urrfii ditches projects at the end moment, so he cancelled her and hired another celebrity. Urrfii wrote that the casting director himself didn’t pay her for the shoot. In other screenshots, Urrfii shared that five girls who she personally knows have contacted her and informed her about the director. One of the girls accused the casting director and alleged that he offered her a lead role in her favourite singer’s music video and in return asked her to sleep with the producer. When refused, he asked the girl to speak to the producer on a video call and not reveal her face.On the work front, Urrfii Javed participated in ‘Bigg Boss OTT’ last year but was the first contestant to get eliminated from the show. She has also starred in ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ and ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2’.
