Jackie Shroff was working with Tabu’s elder Farah Naaz in the 1987-film ‘Diljalaa’. During the shoot, Danny Denzongpa who was also a part of the film had reportedly hosted a party for the film’s star-cast and a teenaged Tabu had accompanied her sister, as she would do often on the film’s sets. Past reports suggest that Farah had alleged that a very drunk Jackie had tried assaulting Tabu at the party, but Danny interfered and restrained him.
